How to make a paracord dog collar

Posted by Major Cord on Nov 16, 2011

Now I’m back for today’s Paracord Projects, How to make a paracord dog collar. We’ve done the leash a few days ago now it’s about time to create the collar to complete the dog set.

This video is from Pugdemonium on youtube. There is no audio instruction but a step by step video and some text headings. This project also uses a D-ring which will serve as a hook where you can link your dog leash. The video will show where and how to attach the D-ring.

A side release buckle is also required in this paracord project, make sure you use the durable kind so it can withstand the tension when your dog pulls.

As stated in the video, 1 foot of paracord will make an inch long of the color. So measure your dog’s neck and make sure you’ll provide enough breathing room.

UPDATE: I have to remove the previous non working link and provide an alternate resource.

If you don’t have a paracord yet, you can visit theĀ Paracord Supplies section and you can purchase your paracords from there.
