How to make a paracord snake knot neck lanyard

Posted by Major Cord on Oct 21, 2011

Major Cord is back again with another Paracord Projects, How to make a paracord snake knot neck lanyard. A really cool looking lanyard resembling the skin pattern of a snake.

This video is from ilybbert on youtube. The video quality is nice and the audio instructions are clear. This is a fairly easy paracord lanyard but might be confusing at first and might require more time to finish up.

The snake knot looks really nice specially when proper colors are used. Paracords are joined by melting the two pieces of different colors together.

The instruction does not require you to have a paracord jig but for those of you who already have one, it will really come in handy. Just be sure to check your braid for consistency in size so it won’t look sloppy.

If you don’t have a paracord yet, you can visit theĀ Paracord Supplies section and you can purchase your paracords from there.
